Are you an electrically biased Engineer with a background in lifting equipment or heavy machinery looking for an engaging new role with excellent progression, training and potential earnings?

This company are spread over two sights with ambitious expansion plans within the next 18 months. Working on a variety of overhead cranes and lifting equipment through various industries, they offer a varied line of work with progression and development at the heart of the company.

This role will involve covering a 20 mile local patch around the branch where the successful candidate will inspect, service, maintain and repair a wide range of equipment. The successful candidate should come from a lifting or heavy machinery maintenance background, be comfortable working at heights and always looking to progress.

The Training:

  • Radio control
  • IPAF
  • Forklift certifications
  • Harness and working at heights
  • Basic slinging

The Role:

  • Inspect, service, maintain and repair customers overhead cranes and lifting equipment through a variety of industries
  • Troubleshoot, fault-find and solve a multitude of electrical and mechanical challenges
  • Ensure health and safety is strictly enforced and adhered to
  • Working a local patch
  • Mon - Fri 8.00am - 4.30pm
  • Weekend Overtime

The Person:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience as an Electrical Engineer within heavy machinery
