About Us:Randstad is working closely with the Long Term Team in Gateshead to recruit a dedicated and experienced Social Worker.If you are passionate about building long-term relationships and making a lasting impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of those in need.

Job Description:Are you an experienced social worker with a commitment to providing long-term support to children and families?In this role, you will manage a caseload of children and families, developing and implementing care plans that address their ongoing needs and help them achieve stability and well-being.

Responsibilities:Managing a caseload of children, young people, and families requiring long-term support.Conducting thorough assessments to understand the needs and strengths of service users.Providing ongoing support, intervention, and monitoring to ensure that care plans are effective and updated as needed.Building and maintaining strong, trusting relationships with service users, families, and carers.Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and family support.

Qualifications:Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.Proven experience in a social work role, particularly in long-term or ongoing case management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective, long-lasting relationships.Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social care and child protection.
