Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for as Metal Fabricator to join them on a permanent basis.
The Job you’ll do
- As a Welder / Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing components with the utmost precision.
- You will work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium to produce high-quality welded and fabricated components.
- The role requires close collaboration with our production and engineering teams to ensure products meet stringent specifications and quality standards.
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines.
- Working with various sections, plate, laser cut and machined components 1-30+ mm thick.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards.
- Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.
About You
- Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG), with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication / Welding or equivalent and proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- Demonstrated experience with variety of metals including stainless steel and aluminium.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to support collaboration within production.

- Remuneration: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour depending on experience.
- 39 hours over 4 days.
- Overtime at 1½.
