Role overview:

The client is seeking a Head of Product to lead the development and optimisation of their app. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to drive product strategy, enhance user engagement, and optimise conversion rates in a highly competitive space. The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on product management expertise to shape the apps trajectory.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the companys vision and goals.

  • Own the product roadmap, prioritising initiatives based on business impact, user feedback, and market trends.

  • Drive the optimisation of conversion rates, leveraging data-driven strategies and insights to increase user acquisition, retention, and monetisation.

  • Lead a cross-functional product team, fostering collaboration between design, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams.

  • Identify and implement innovative features to improve the user experience and maximise the value of the Freemium to Premium model.

  • Monitor and analyse product performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure the product remains at the forefront of the market.

  • Mentor and develop junior product managers, cultivating a high-performance team culture.


Essential Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of the mobile app ecosystem, including user behaviour, market dynamics, and monetisation strategies.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, with experience using data and insights to inform product decisions.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling mobile app products.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.


Desirable Experience:

  • Proven experience leading product development for Freemium to Premium mobile app platforms.

  • Deep understanding of conversion rate strategies and the ability to implement effective measures to improve KPIs.

  • Experience working in a high-growth startup environment.

  • Familiarity with user research methodologies and A/B testing tools.

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in the mobile app space, such as AI-driven personalisation.

  • Background in product design or UX/UI, with an emphasis on user-centred design principles.
