Reed HR is collaborating with a prominent logistics company in West Sussex to find an Employee Relations Specialist for an interim position. This short-term contract involves managing various employee relations cases. The ideal candidate should be immediately available and experienced in handling complex cases.

This is a part time role offering 3 days per week. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert advice on employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, sickness, and performance management.
  • Ensure all cases comply with company policies and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement strategies that promote positive employer-employee relationships.
  • Investigate complex employee issues and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Conduct training sessions on employee relations practices and policies for staff and management.
  • Maintain accurate records of all cases and prepare reports for senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Employee Relations Specialist or similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices in employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
