The successful candidate will be responsible for managing pre and post-operative surgical patients across various specialties, providing exceptional clinical and managerial leadership.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient and safe running of inpatient and day care wards.
  • Lead the ward team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Manage patient feedback and complaints in accordance with policy.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to manage departmental resources effectively.
  • Conduct audits and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Develop services in partnership with the Business Development Team.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin.
  • Experience in an acute environment, preferably in a busy surgical ward.
  • Proven leadership and clinical management skills.
  • Familiarity with private hospital operations is preferred.
