As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
- Design metal enclosures using SolidWorks to meet mechanical and functional requirements.
- Develop detailed 3D models and drawing packs for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electronic packaging needs.
To apply for this Gatwick based Mechanical Design Engineer job, you will need a combination of the following:
- Proven experience in packaging electronics within mechanical designs.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with Creo.
- Experience in mechanical design, preferably more.
- Strong understanding of wired temperature ranges, vibration, and shock constraints would be highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
