GSE Class 2 Refuelling Technician (Diesel and HVO) – HEATHROW/GATWICK
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Airport Energy team as a GSE refuelling technician checking and replenishing Diesel and HVO for Ground Service Equipment at Heathrow and Gatwick airport.

We have airport operations across Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and Edinburgh airports, four depot locations across the South plus two operating centres in East and West London with our Head office in Southampton.
Your opportunity
As a GSE refuelling technician checking and replenishing Diesel and HVO you will work alongside a team of GSE refuelers currently delivering a ground fuels service to ground services equipment, you will be supporting the effective and safe distribution of fuels and of both airside and landside operations to exceed Customer expectations through achieving both the maximum level of productivity and compliance.
SHIFT PATTERN: 46 hours, 4 on 4 off (11.5 hour) nightshifts (inclusive of minimum daily breaks)
Role and responsibilities include:
- With safety as the overall paramount consideration, you will ensure the following duties are completed:
- All vehicles as per schedule are located, levels checked and topped up with the correct fuel (Diesel or HVO)
- Manually record volumes dispensed, vehicle id’s and where required vehicle mileages/hours meters.
- Populate weekly/monthly records sheets in excel format.
- Manage and update equipment refuelling schedule.
Skills and attributes required:
- A clean Full UK Drivers Licence classes C&E
- ADR Licence for class 3 in tanks (training provided)
- Driver CPC
- Driver Tacho Card
- Knowledge of fuels industry - Preferable
- Good level of numerical and literacy skills
- Ability to use IT based systems, MS Outlook or similar to input and extract data
- Knowledge and experience of working Airside in the critical area at any Large UK airport
What we offer you:
- Basic of £29,530 per annum
- Shift allowance at £2720 per annum
