Your Role:

As a Teaching Assistant at this school, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the students' learning and wellbeing. Your goal will be to help every child reach their full potential in a nurturing and safe environment.

Key Duties:

Support students with their learning and personal care needs as required.
Follow individualized plans to address sensory, communication, and behavioural needs.
Build positive, caring relationships with students to ensure they feel secure and engaged.
Collaborate with a team of professionals to foster independence and personal development.
Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality, tailored educational experiences.
Adapt to varying duties as needed in our dynamic SEN environment.

What They're Looking For:

Experience working with SEN, either in a paid or voluntary role.
Level 2 qualification or above in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) is desirable.
GCSEs in Maths and English at Level 2/C or above.
Understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection principles.
Knowledge or experience with SEN, SEMH, or ASD.
Flexibility and a strong commitment to supporting individual student needs.
Creativity and professionalism in working with students and colleagues.
