Role - GSE Technician Main Purpose of the Job:Undertake repairs and maintenance  and associated vehicles to the required standard. Adhere tocorporate Health and Safety guidelines, ISO 9001 framework and guidelines on vehicle maintenance.Main Duties and Responsibilities:1. Repair vehicles and plants as requested by the Workshop Supervisor2. Carry out inspections, brake and smoke tests and show all defects to the Workshop Supervisor beforecommencing with any repairs or booking out any parts3. Diagnose and inform the Workshop Supervisor of all work and parts required before commencing job4. Job updates using SAP must be completed correctly/accurately to current point of repair.5. Update the Workshop Supervisor of any further work or parts required immediately6 Request parts via stores to enable parts to be supplied7.Inform the Workshop Supervisor of any VOR parts immediately8.Utilise SAP on tablets for parts used from workshop9. Label parts and put them onto correct shelves, e.g. warranty or exchange unit10. Inform the Workshop Supervisor immediately upon job completion11. Quarantine, label and report all defective tooling immediately to the site Workshop Supervisor12. Report any defective items immediately to the Workshop Supervisor
