As a Project Manager, you will lead the development of Vehicle Test Systems from initial concept and specification through to the design and development of hardware, firmware, software, and mechanical components, culminating in user acceptance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive testing and industry regulatory requirements. You should be adept at vehicle test procedures and capable of designing processes that capture insightful data beyond mere pass/fail results. Experience in brake testing, vehicle dynamics, ADAS validation, or pass-by-noise testing is highly desirable.

 

This is a highly collaborative role, involving close coordination with Product Development Engineers to deliver solutions for customers throughout the product lifecycle, from conception and specification to user acceptance testing and sales support. A solid engineering background and technical understanding of automotive compliance or motorsport performance testing, combined with project management and customer interaction skills, are essential.

 

Requirements

Experience in the automotive sector, particularly in vehicle testing.

Engineering background with a degree or HNC level qualification.

Ability to read and understand technical regulations, specifications, product data sheets, and manuals.

Interest in solving complex engineering problems.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with customer-facing experience.

Full, clean UK driving licence.

Knowledge of GNSS, GPS, or INS technology.
