Position Description:
This is an opportunity for a CMF Designer to take responsibility for designing and developing colour & materials for our Client’s Bespoke programmes from an interior and exterior point of view from Concept through to Job 1 and beyond.  This role will be focused on all aspects of the Design journey from Creation through to Realisation. Delivering more sustainable and responsible material initiatives and methods of make is key to the role. Support in researching trends, landscape shifts, analogous industry and new ideas for next generation vehicles and create vehicle line material strategies for future implementation. Research and development activities for new colours and materials, create inspiring Materiality concepts and realise concepts through creation of digital and physical assets and prototyping ideas. Assist in the design, development and implementation of colour and material design proposals feeding into Materiality strategies, concept cars, vision properties. Ideas for direction and create multimedia presentations to communicate these.
Skills Required:
- Relevant Design or Arts Degree.
- Design software competency.
- Photoshop/Illustrator/VRED Colour and Material Design experience in Automotive or Luxury Brands.
Experience Required:
- Degree level qualification BA or equivalent in Textile Fashion, Graphics, Product, Automotive design or similar.
- Approximately 5 years’ experience as a designer with proven experience or examples in portfolio of colour and material design application.
- Proficient in adobe creative suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience working with luxury lifestyle brands.
- Experience working with clients on the creation and delivery of client projects.
- A good understanding of automotive design and delivery processes.
- Key candidates must be able to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.
- Candidates must be confident communicators and comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Successful candidates will have modern luxury taste level and design execution demonstrated in their portfolio.
