An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IMDS Coordinator to join a niche automotive manufacturer.
The IMDS Coordinator will be responsible for the management and coordination of all product related REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical substances) & Material Compliance elements. This includes tools, standards and processes across the plant.
Ideally, candidates will be able to liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the business. It is essential that candidates are good communicators and have good numeracy and literacy skills.
Further responsibilities include:
*Create and manage implementation of International Material Data System (IMDS) collating information according to the EU End-of Life vehicles, hazardous material legislation.
*Contact person responsible for product related REACH & Material Compliance topics
*Coordination of product related REACH & Material Compliance action plans
*Review of product related REACH & Material Compliance performance indicators within the Division
*Start of internal escalation process in case of non-compliance issues of product
*Check of REACH & Material Compliance related customer requirements
