CNC Setter Operator (Shift)
Our client are global-leading ejection seat manufacturers, specialising in protecting the aircrew of state-of-the-art military aircraft.
They are currently looking for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join their team on a rotating shift pattern (6am - 2pm/1:45pm-10pm), assisting with both the manufacturing and inspection of components using both manual and CNC machinery.

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 6am to 2pm/ 1:45pm to 10pm
Salary: Up to 36k p/a + 29% Shift Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate both manual and CNC machinery to manufacture components to tight technical specifications and standards.
  • Inspect components using required quality procedures, using conventional measuring techniques.
  • Complete basic maintenance on machine and tools in accordance with TPM programme and machine manuals.
  • Deburr components to required standard


Required skills and traits:

  • Previous experience in a CNC Setting/Operating/Programming position within a machine shop
  • Proficient in Tool Setting, Deburring, Turning and Milling
  • Ability to work to technical drawings & specifications.
  • Previous experience in component inspection in accordance with quality procedures and standards.
