About the Role
As an Assembly Operative - Pressure Testing, you will be responsible for a variety of processes, including the assembly and inspection of cables, pipes, high-pressure hoses, and gun components. Your primary tasks will involve:
- Running programmes to test high-pressure hoses to the required technical and quality standards
- Setting up programmes for new components in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards
- Conducting injection moulding tasks, such as mould tool set-up, barrel configuration, material selection, and machine operation
- Performing inspections to ensure the highest quality standards are met, and issuing the appropriate certificates and stamps
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for the Assembly Operative - Pressure Testing role will possess the following skills and experience:
- Broad experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- A background in manufacturing or engineering, with a good understanding of health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently when required
- Familiarity with SAP software
- Desirable: Mechanical apprenticeship or similar technical training
