An excellent opportunity for an experienced meetings and events professional to join our revenue team.

The Revenue team plays a crucial role in our business, often serving as the first point of contact for many of our guests. As a Senior Meetings & Events Coordinator, you’ll provide a personalized reservations service for all types of meetings and events, both large and small. You will work both reactively and proactively to sell our venue and facilities to potential guests.

As a Senior Meetings & Events Coordinator, you should have:

- Ideally, a degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or Tourism - At least 2 years of experience in meetings & events coordination within a quality venue or event company with multiple meeting rooms - Telesales experience, with both reactive and proactive sales skills - Proficiency in computer systems like Event Management Diary and Opera - Previous experience in room reservations - Self-motivation, with a passion for sales and meeting targets - A people-oriented approach and strong teamwork skills - Excellent attention to detail and solid administrative skills - Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor - Flexibility in your schedule, typically working 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), with occasional evening and weekend shifts as required

Responsibilities as a Senior Meetings & Events Coordinator:

- Handle and process all inquiries for conferences and functions, ensuring clients' needs are met while maximizing revenue and profits - Promptly record and process all bookings, cancellations, and amendments in the M&E system (Events 500), maintaining the highest quality and standards in all issued information and materials - Effectively communicate clients' needs through weekly function sheets and daily coordination with the operational teams - Fill in business gaps when Food and Beverage outlets are not booked - Manage accommodation bookings, ensuring a smooth booking process for clients - Attend daily/weekly business meetings to coordinate the smooth operation across all departments - Conduct venue tours for potential clients and facilitate the booking coordination for Food and Beverage outlets and rooms - Ensure test calls/emails meet company standards - In the absence of the Revenue & Events Office Manager, produce and present the weekly M&E forecast - Maintain and develop client relationships, successfully building both existing and new business
