We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Meeting and Events Sales Executive to join our clients dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have hospitality with a knack for sales and a passion for delivering exceptional events. As the main point of contact for our clients customers , you will be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and follow-up of a wide range of meetings and events, ensuring client satisfaction and driving sales.

A leading 4* hotel with over 140 rooms. They are renowned for their service and an excellent place to work, with fantastic longevity of staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the coordination and management of all stages of event planning, including the coordination of rooms bookings.

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new clients and increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the events and meetings space.

- Conduct follow-up calls with clients to gather feedback, secure repeat business, and build long-term relationships.

- Collaborate with the marketing department to create engaging promotional materials and campaigns to boost brand visibility and event attendance.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the quality and profitability of events.

- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality services at the most competitive prices.

- Address and resolve any issues that may arise during the event planning process or actual event to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience with Meeting and Events in the hospitality sector.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, team members, and external partners.

- Strong sales abilities, with experience in sales strategy development and execution.

- Proficiency in event management software and familiarity with CRM tools.

- A proactive and results-driven attitude with a commitment to meeting targets and deadlines.
