Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee corporate tax reviews for all audit clients
  • Develop strong working knowledge in R&D to become the firm’s specialist and support clients with their ongoing needs
  • Support with corporate tax restructuring and tax due diligence
  • Assist in the preparation of research and development tax credit claims
  • Identify planning and advisory opportunities
  • Handle ad-hoc queries from the wider firm as needed
  • Manage EIS/SEIS advanced assurance for qualifying trades, including the new KIC status, and oversee the completion of EIS 1, 2, and 3 forms
  • Oversee reporting for Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) schemes
  • Manage ATED in-year notifications and year-end reporting
  • Serve as the firm’s go-to specialist for deferred tax matters
  • Assist with technical VAT queries and the implications of corporate restructures
  • Stay informed on the latest tax legislation, ensuring clients are updated on any changes that may affect their tax status
  • Set an example as a hands-on and supportive member of the team, reviewing junior work and delivering training
  • Champion your own career development by undertaking further learning opportunities where possible

  • ATT / CTA qualified or currently studying
