The role will require the following responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special educational needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support students' academic and personal development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider school community, promoting the school's values and ethos.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
- A positive, energetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
- Has a clear and valid DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
- A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of children.
