Main Duties and Responsibilities for the End User Computing Engineer:
Hardware, Software, and IT Equipment Management
- Configure, install, and maintain all office technical equipment, including laptops, printers, monitors, and other IT peripherals.
- Procure and manage hardware/software inventory and liaise with vendors for problem resolution.
- Manage corporate mobile devices through Intune (MDM).
- Utilise and manage Windows Autopilot for device deployment and configuration, with the ability to implement and support its adoption in the organisation.
Systems Administration and Security
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, including configuration, policy management, identity, and security.
- Manage and support Active Directory, Entra ID, and related identity services, including group policies.
- Maintain and support Windows 10/11 environments and related software/applications.
- Ensure adherence to IT security practices, including device encryption, MFA, conditional access, and endpoint protection.
- Maintain and enforce IT policies through Intune and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Automation and Documentation
- Developing and maintaining deployment of Windows Laptops via AutoPilot
- Utilise PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks.
- Create and maintain SLAs, technical documentation, end-user training resources, and knowledge bases.
- Follow and establish standard IT procedures, logging all IT interactions systematically.
