We are currently working with a manufacturer in Malton, North Yorkshire, to recruit for a HR Advisor to join the HR team. This role will work alongside the HR Business Partner and it is a true generalist HR role.
Salary is up to £40,000 DOE and is predominantly based in the office with flexibility for 1 day a week WFH. This is a full-time permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Support the HR Business Partner on a range of HR projects
- Own and manage the entire employee lifecycle
- Manage an ER caseload with ownership of the cases from start to finish, escalating complex cases to the HR Business Partner
- Supporting with payroll processes
- Coach and support managers on a range of HR topics
- Provide support on companywide strategies
- Support with recruitment activity and take ownership of onboarding
- Maintain and update the HR database, utilising HR metrics to present to the HR Business Partner and wider leadership team
Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
- Experience of working at HR Advisor level with the proven ability to manage ER cases and own other areas of the employee lifecycle
- Experience of coaching and supporting line managers
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of employment law and best practice
