Corporate Tax Senior

I am currently recruiting for a Corporate Tax Senior to join a dynamic and supportive team in Rochester. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while delivering outstanding service to a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.

About the RoleAs a Corporate Tax Senior, you'll take ownership of managing tax compliance and consultancy services for a growing client base. You'll ensure corporation tax returns are prepared and submitted accurately and on time, while offering expert technical advice and ensuring compliance with UK tax regulations.

Working closely with senior colleagues, including Directors and Portfolio Managers, you'll play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and delivering a high standard of service. Additionally, you'll mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and consultancy services to corporate clients.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for client tax queries.
  • Collaborate with the audit team to ensure accurate tax provisions in statutory accounts.
  • Finalise and submit CT600s efficiently.
  • Review work prepared by junior staff, offering guidance and support.
  • Stay updated on UK tax regulations through ongoing training and CPD.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualifications: ATT qualified with at least 3 years' experience in Corporate Tax
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational abilities.
  • Experience: Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients, with a commercial mindset and an understanding of client requirements.
