Financial Controller

CMA's client is a well established business who are ready to appoint a Financial Controller into an essential role. Reporting into a Director, you will be in charge of running a finance function and ensuring the team are supported and run efficiently.

Paying an excellent salary range of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum with a good range of benefits, this is an ideal role for a Finance Manager looking to work for a growing business with great long term career prospects.

What will the Financial Controller role involve?

• You will be a vital member of the senior management team for this multi-entity business;
• Oversee the financial operations of this business and strategic finance decision making;
• Manage a small & close knit finance team, supporting and mentoring to get the very best out of the finance function;
• Completing all financial and management accounts ready for month and year end accounts to be finalised;
• Attending senior management meetings and advising and supporting business growth.

Suitable Candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy:

• A part or fully qualified candidate with a proven background in running a finance function and managing a finance team;
• Ideally you will have knowledge of working in a growing business with multiple entities and an understanding of any complexities around this;
• You will be wanting to be a part of a senior team and be in a number one role, reporting into the business Directors;
• Happy with an office location in Gillingham and easily commutable to work on a daily basis.
