Management Accountant | £55k + bonus | Mid Kent | 2-year FTC

This is a superb opportunity for a driven and talented candidate to join a high-growth, well-established business in a newly created role for a 2-year fixed-term contract. This is an exciting time to join the business as it experiences strong success within the UK market and as a result, can offer great exposure as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure efficient preparation, and submission of accurate financial information to meet requirements and deadlines.
  • To ensure completion of period-end reconciliations, ensuring analysis to obtain full financial transparency
  • Preparation of year-end accounts and supporting documentation for the businesses which accurately reflect financial performance, ensuring full completion within set timescales.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors, providing information as required.
  • Continually review management information that reviews business performance and supports/direct business activities and initiatives.
  • VAT returns
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
  • Provide cost analysis
  • Drive process improvements and initiatives that positively influence the function and the wider businesses.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will ACA; ACCA or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills in order to manipulate data in spreadsheets, create lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulae etc
  • Excellent analytical/numerical skills with advanced excel skills to manipulate data in spreadsheets, create lookups, PivotTables, advanced formulas, use of Power Query etc.
  • SAP experience and implementation experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to work with autonomy, to build your own reports and be a natural problem solver.
  • Performing ad-hoc duties as required as part of the overall finance function.
