Machine Setter

All Square Recruitment are working with a reputable employer based in Gillingham, Kent.

We are seeking an experienced Machine Setter to join an established team.

Our client have developed a strong reputation based around producing quality products and adhering to high standards.

Machine Setter - Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various production machines to ensure smooth operation and meet production targets. This includes adjusting machine settings to ensure optimal performance
• Perform regular quality checks during production runs and adjust machines as needed to maintain quality
• Perform minor repairs or coordinating with maintenance teams
• Ensure correct tooling is in place for specific production runs
• Keep accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production output, using in-house systems

Machine Setter - Requirements

• Prior experience as a machine setter or operator in a manufacturing or production environment
• Familiarity with mechanical and production machinery, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machine performance.
• Ability to maintain quality control and spot issues early in the production process.
• Must be comfortable working on your feet and operating machines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and maintenance teams.

Shift Details

Monday to Friday

7:30am till 5pm (Early finish on Friday - Dependant on Production)

Hourly rate dependant on experience.
