Position: Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer

Location: Rochester

Salary: 40,000-65,000 (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer to join a leading law firm in Rochester. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual looking to take ownership of their caseload and potentially progress to a supervisory or partnership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire conveyancing process independently from instruction to completion.
  • Handling leasehold transactions confidently, with no additional assessments required.
  • Working with freehold and leasehold properties; knowledge of new builds is beneficial but not essential.
  • Supporting clients with a high level of service and professionalism.
  • Engaging in business development activities (no client following required).
  • Working closely with a junior team, with potential to move into a supervisory position.

Candidate Requirements:

  • We are seeking independent, experienced candidates; no trainees or paralegals will be considered.
  • Comfortable with end-to-end conveyancing processes.
  • Post-completion support is available, but candidates should be confident managing the full process.
  • Ideally, the candidate will have supervisory potential given the junior nature of the team.
