What You'll Be Doing:
- Create detailed drawings for component sheet metal parts that are essential for product assemblies.
- Master the art of programming and nesting parts for CNC punching, making the most of material resources.
- Utilise your skills with software packages to streamline production processes.
- Ensure that all input information is accurate, assisting with folding and assembly processes.
- Work alongside Research & Development teams on continuous improvement projects and support the development of new products.
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
- Solid experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with CNC punch programming and Brake Press processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively resolve issues with other departments.
- A willingness to learn new software for Layout & CNC processes.
Experience & Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience operating or programming a CNC Punch Machine is a plus.
- Previous work with SolidWorks and 3D modelling is highly desirable.
- Background in manufacturing, specifically within a sheet metal environment, will give you an edge.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen ventilation concepts adds an exciting dimension to your profile.
- General IT literacy is essential.
