A great opportunity has arisen for an Entry Level CAD Technician to join a leading design, manufacturing and installation company based in Medway Towns on a permanent basis.

You will be working 08.45-17.00 Monday-Thursday and 09.00-16.00 Friday.

The main purpose of the role is toproduce 2D AutoCAD drawings of ventilation systems for customer approval.

Your main duties will include:

  • Interpretation of customer ductwork and equipment drawings.
  • Calculating required airflows and design systems.
  • Working in accordance with company quality procedures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement
  • Attending team meetings and contributing to the team development topic
  • Communicating with customers and consultants to confirm information and requirements.
  • Liaising with project managers, revising drawings as required.

Experience/Qualifications

  • A technical design background and experience with sheet metal and ductwork systems.
  • Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor & Vault OR similar design platforms following the same design practices
  • A background and knowledge of commercial ventilation desirable
  • Revit(3D Modelling)experience desirable
