Are you a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

Academics Rochester are working with a high number of mainstream primary schools in Gillingham and Strood, who are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their schools, working with students of all ages to provide vital support in their learning journey.

  • Role: Teaching Assistant with SEMH Experience
  • Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday (opportunity to go permanent for successful candidates)
  • Pay: £85 - £95 per day, with potential to rise based on experience

In this role, you will work closely with students to support their emotional and mental health, helping them engage in their education and develop essential skills. You will play a key part in ensuring each student receives the care, guidance, and assistance they need to thrive in both their academic and personal growth.
