You will like

The Electrical Project Manager job itself, where you will be responsible for the delivery of projects from sales/ tendering handover through to completion and handover to customers. Plus this role also includes people management responsibilities where you’ll be responsible for the project delivery team.  More specifically:

  • Delivery of grid metering projects, achieving customer requirements and in accordance with corporate project management requirements
  • Full ownership for all project phases (project engineering, procurement & manufacture, FAT, delivery, installation, SIT, SAT & final commissioning
  • Interface and liaise with all stakeholders to ensure all objectives are met to budget and on time
  • Responsible for management of Project Engineers within the project delivery team Management of project resources and project budgets
  • Manage EHS (Environment, health and safety) in connection with delivery of projects Identify and manage project risks
  • Support & collaborate with Sales/Tendering during pre-sales phase of projects

?You will have

To be successful as Electrical Project Manager you will have a good mix of the following:

  • BSc/HND in engineering discipline.
  • Electrical engineering technical background
  • Knowledge and experience of precision metering and electrical measurements
  • Knowledge of high-voltage transmission and distribution networks
  • Project management experience and formal qualifications advantageous
  • People management experience would be beneficial
  • Great communication and influencing skills
