An excellent opportunity for an individual with basic Electrical, Electronic, PCs and networking service experience looking to join an industry leading company who can offer on the full job training on their health kiosk, weighing machines and BP health monitors.

Do you have an Electrical or Electronics background? Are you looking for the chance to become a Field Service/workshop technician within a specialist industry?

Established for over 25 years, this company provide maintenance, repair and installation services for specialist health and medical equipment to sites across the UK. They have cemented themselves as a leader in their industry and now work alongside some of most well-known fitness and exercise brands in the UK. Due to an ongoing and increasing demand for their services in the medical sector, they are now looking for a field service technician to join their team.

  • In this role you will be spilt approximately 30% workshop 70% field service depending on your skill set
  • You will be covering primarily Southeast and occasionally covering the UK as when needed plus providing holiday cover
  • Ensure that all your targets and KPI’s are met and jobs are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Project a professional image of yourself with customer service at the forefront
  • Excellent communication skill

  • You will be reporting directly to the operations manager this job would suit someone with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to work.

You will be refurbishing equipment to a high standard and required to do basic fault finding this would typically involve a board exchange, setting up a network connection, routine service, cleaning, maintenance of equipment, calibration and PAT testing whilst also installing kiosks. Due to the nature of the role early starts will be required, occasional night outs paid at an enhanced rate, you will also be provided with full specialist training on all the company’s products for you to become a technical expert.

This role would therefore suit an individual with an Electrical or Electronic background who is looking for the chance to train as a Field Service/workshop technician with an industry-leading company.

The Role:

  • Field Service/workshop technician covering primarily Southeast & and on occasionally covering the UK as when needed plus providing holiday cover.

Attributes

  • Some Electrical or Electronic experience
  • Strong ‘hands on skills’
  • Customer facing skills
  • Ideally some IT experience with networking/integration
  • Flexible and willing to learn with a can do attitude
  • Lives around Medway towns, Gravesend, Dartford, Bexley, Sidcup and Swanley
