Electronics Design Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join their global leading organisation and play a key role in the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge electronics systems for automotive applications.Â
Duties include:
- Designing various circuits to meet the requirements of the customer, whilst sticking to budgets and completing within given time frames.
- Preparing documentation, presentations, and reports for internal and external use.
- Incorporating I&CIM techniques throughout various projects.
- Suggesting electronic hardware solutions where necessary.
- Reviewing Bill of Materials and any other technical documentation.
- Supporting other departments such as the Design & Process Validation teams.
- Leading activities focusing on DFMEA.
- Developing and maintaining test equipment.
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronics hardware design.
- Previous experience in switch mode power supplies or power electronics design.
- Computer literate with knowledge of CAD programs and MS Office.
- Knowledge of BOMs.
