Electronics Design Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join their global leading organisation and play a key role in the design, development, and validation of cutting-edge electronics systems for automotive applications. 

Duties include:

  • Designing various circuits to meet the requirements of the customer, whilst sticking to budgets and completing within given time frames.
  • Preparing documentation, presentations, and reports for internal and external use.
  • Incorporating I&CIM techniques throughout various projects.
  • Suggesting electronic hardware solutions where necessary.
  • Reviewing Bill of Materials and any other technical documentation.
  • Supporting other departments such as the Design & Process Validation teams.
  • Leading activities focusing on DFMEA.
  • Developing and maintaining test equipment.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electronics hardware design.
  • Previous experience in switch mode power supplies or power electronics design.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of CAD programs and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of BOMs.
