We are currently recruiting for an experience Hygiene Operative / Cleaner to join our client, a Food Production facility in Medway!

As a Hygiene Technician for this company, your duties will include:

  • Cleaning machinery and facilities including toilets and offices
  • Working with chemicals, ensuring accurate labelling and storage
  • Manual handling of goods up to 25kg
  • Working in different temperatures
  • Liaising with various other internal teams to resolve any quality issues.
  • Ensuring that all hygiene tasks are carried out and recorded accurately.
  • Carrying out hygiene audits both scheduled and ad hoc.
  • Undertaking and supporting product and process improvements in order to correct and eliminate problems which may reoccur.
  • Assisting with deep clean shutdowns on heavy machinery
  • Any other duties required.

The successful Hygiene Technician will have/be:

  • Worked within a Hygiene/Cleaning role within a Food Production environment or similar
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and COSHH.
  • Physically fit, with good manual handling experience
  • The ability to work in very hot environment, confined space, and at height.
  • An understanding of pest control, with the ability
