We are delighted to be recruiting for up to three Minibus Drivers to join our small friendly driving team. The great thing about the role is that the hours are super flexible and we can work with you to see what suits both parties!We have mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights. Some weekends but mainly Monday - Friday. Working hours vary depending on your availability, however we are currently able to offer both part time and more full time hours (16hrs - 35hrs). MC Personnel operate a small fleet of 8 seated Minibuses and 16 seated Minibuses. All our buses are in great condition, 6 weekly checked and all 3 years old or younger. You will be driving comfortable, modern and reliable vehicles.Â
DUTIESMC Personnel are a Recruitment Business (agency). Our Minibuses are mainly used to pick up, take to places of work around Kent and drop off again at the end of the shift. We have a number of pick up points around the towns. The following would be the typical duties of our minibus drivers:
- Vehicle daily checks (information entered and stored into an App on a mobile device)
- Driving a minibus in a safe and professional manner to ensure Workers are picked up on time and taken to the right location.Â
- Following a pre organised bus route to a timetable. Contacting by mobile phone any passengers who are not at their pick up by the designated time.
- Liaising with the office "Out of Hours" mobile number of any "no shows".Â
- Take payment using a card reader from passengers. Make notes of any passengers who are unable to make payment.
- Hand out PPE (workwear) to passengers if required prior to them getting to work site.Â
- On some instances you may be asked to ensure passengers enter through the right entrance once dropped off at a site.
- Pick people up for the return and drop back to their pick up points.Â
- Use an App to clock in and out and record hours.
- Correct usage of Tacho card.Â
- Undertaking of some Private Hire runs (such as Airports, Nights out, Day Trips, School Trips, Sports clubs etc...
In order to be considered for the role:Â
- UK Driving Licence (standard for 8 seaters)
- D1 category with the 101 removed (for Hire & Reward) for 16 seaters
- Digital Tacho Card
- CPC Drivers CardÂ
- Previous driving experience would be preferable.Â
- CRB check will be carried out (paid for by the company)
- Future training and card renewals will be paid for by the company.
- MUST be reliable and have excellent timekeeping.
- MUST be trustworthy and honest as will be in charge of vehicles and passengers.Â

Pay rates are as follows:8 seater drivers £12.00 per hour + enhancement for overtime or unsociable hours.16 seater drivers £14.00 per hour + enhancement for overtime or unsociable hours. 28 days holiday per annum (pro rota if part time)Pension and Healthcare options.Medicals and optical appointments covered.Â
