About the Role:• Position: Multi Skilled Engineer• Location: Gillingham, Kent• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00• Salary: £48,000 - £52,000 per annum

Your Role:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical systems to keep production running smoothly.• Implement modifications and upgrades to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and introduce the latest automation technology.• From new machine installations to process improvements, take ownership of engineering projects and drive real change.• Carry out preventive maintenance and predictive analysis to prevent breakdowns and optimise machinery.• Your expertise will directly influence productivity, product quality, and sustainability.• Gain exposure to electrical, mechanical, PLCs, automation, and control systems, developing your skills in a dynamic environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, food, FMCG, or industrial environment.• A strong background in both mechanical or electrical engineering, or both!• Experience with PLC fault-finding, automation, and control systems is a plus!• A proactive, hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset.• Ability to work independently and within a team in a dynamic 24/7 environment.
