Our Client is a reputable and growing maintenance and installation business, specialising in working at height safety and BMU maintenance. As experts in this field, they are looking for a motivated individual to join their team as a TraineeWorking at Height Safety Technician.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a 2-person site team, collaborating with a lead engineer to install, maintain, and repair permanent access equipment and fall protection systems.
- Install and maintain work-at-height systems, including fall restraint and fall arrest safety wire systems, fixed access ladders, handrail systems, gantries, and walkways.
- Option to assist BMU engineers in maintaining, repairing, and testing Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) at client sites.
- Travel to job locations primarily within the Southeast, particularly in London and the M25 area.
- Meet the lead engineer at designated meeting points and travel to job sites in a company vehicle.
To support your professional development, successful candidates will be enrolled in the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Accessing and Rigging - Fall Protection, with progression to Level 3 upon completion.

- Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience within the Work at Height industry.
- Previous experience in similar roles or industries
- Experience in a similar role/industry (LOLER inspections, BMU’s, eyebolts, safety wire systems, guardrails).
- Mechanical/electrical engineering experience.
