Our client, a leader in the fire and safety systems industry, is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join their dynamic projects team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-end fire alarm systems, contributing to critical safety projects across a variety of sites.

About the Role

As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of advanced fire alarm systems, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and safety regulations. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective client relationships.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Installing high-end fire alarm systems in line with project requirements.
  • Testing completed circuits and interpreting CAD drawings to determine optimal cable routes.
  • Completing electronic worksheets, timesheets, and mileage/expense claims.
  • Maintaining accurate site logbooks with details of all work completed.
  • Ensuring all company-issued equipment is kept in good condition and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Escalating delays or site challenges to supervisors and maintaining regular communication regarding project progress.
  • Attending training courses to expand product knowledge and technical skills.
