Job Description – Psychology & Sociology Teacher

• Teach engaging and inspiring Psychology and Sociology lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
• Plan and deliver a dynamic and inclusive curriculum that supports the needs of all learners.
• Work collaboratively with the Social Sciences Department to drive student progress and achievement.
• Monitor and assess student outcomes, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Participate in ongoing CPD and contribute to departmental planning and improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it.
• Strong academic background in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to meet teaching standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level.
• A genuine passion for Social Sciences and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
• Team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to embrace feedback and take part in professional development.
