Interim HR Business Partner (6 Month FTC) | £55k | Medway

Our industry leading client are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner for a 6-month interim contract. Reporting into the HR Director, and working within the HR team, this role will be pivotal in supporting the creation of the HR strategy and policies for the wider business.

Role

  • To work both strategically and operationally in a business partnering capacity to ensure HR support is provided to a high level.
  • Implement and deliver end to end policy.
  • This role will support the HR Director in budget creation and refining the HR strategy.
  • Support change management and organisational development projects
  • Ensure HR compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies
  • Provide support and guidance to managers with complex employee relations issues.
  • Ensure that managers are equipped with the skills to coach their people to high levels of performance and ongoing development of their skills.
  • Use data to analyse decisions on strategic approaches to challenges.
  • Support the HR Director with upcoming HR projects
  • Lead and mentor junior of the HR Team.

The ideal candidate -

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified - or candidates who are qualified by experience
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrable HR experience in a small - medium sized business.
  • In depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong communication and business partnering skills.
  • The ideal candidate will be commercially minded.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions would be desired but not essential
  • Current knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Experience of training coaching and influencing managers.
