Description
- Provide day-to-day support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Perform regular checks and maintenance to ensure all IT systems are operational and up-to-date.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly to minimise system downtime and disruptions.
- Assist employees with technical issues, providing clear guidance and assistance on system use.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software as required.
- Help implement upgrades and updates to systems, ensuring that all hardware and software remain current and secure.
- Work closely with the IT team to implement solutions and resolve technical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of IT support requests, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Supporting the deployment of new IT systems and upgrades.
- Working collaboratively to ensure compliance with relevant IT standards and regulations.
Profile
A successful IT Technician should have:
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and security protocols.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Efficient problem-solving skills for troubleshooting technical problems.
- Proactive, organised, and excellent at finding solutions.
