A long established company is looking for an experienced Catering Assistant/Cook to work in their small friendly staff canteen. Based in Medway Towns, this is a temporary position with the opporunity to go permanent for the right candiate.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 1:00pm. A Food Handlers Certificate is required for this role.
You will be working on your own preparing breakfasts and snacks for approx 30 covers per day. The menu consists mainly of hot breakfast rolls, jacket potatoes, toasted sandwiches and soup. You will also be responsible for producing a meal meal, menu planning and some basic costings.In addition to this you are responsible for food ordering, stock control, cash handling, filling vending machines and cleaning the kitchen at the end of each service.If you are interested please apply without delay for immediate consideration.
