Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a Dairy Products Manufacturer in Dorset which are looking to add a Continuous Improvement Manager to their expanding business. the ideal candidate has experience within food production and has a passion for CI and Lean manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives with a strong focus on collaboration with the production team to enhance daily operations and meet production goals.
  • Partner closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to streamline processes, reduce downtime, and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct regular workshops and training sessions with production staff to promote Lean principles and encourage an ownership mentality for CI initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, creating a smoother workflow across the production floor.
  • Facilitate open communication between departments to ensure alignment on CI projects and to gather input from team members at all levels.
  • Provide coaching to production team leaders, helping them develop CI skills to drive ongoing improvements within their teams.
  • Utilise data and feedback from the production floor to design targeted improvement projects, ensuring practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Regularly report to senior leadership on CI project impacts, including efficiency gains, cost savings, and production performance improvements.

  • Monday to Friday - Days - 40 hours p/w
  • Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 DOE (flexibility for a fantastic candidate))
