Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Rochester

Are you ready to lead quality initiatives in a dynamic engineering environment? We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure product excellence and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct product audits and quality investigations.
  • Support the Quality Manager with daily quality tasks.
  • Analyse and interpret complex quality documents.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints alongside the Commercial team.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate quality at every stage.
  • Audit suppliers and resolve quality issues.
  • Monitor product performance through inspections and audits.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years in quality engineering, mechanical inspection, calibration, and customer complaint resolution.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ISO 9001/14001, Statistical Process Control, and reading engineering drawings. Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Qualifications: BTEC Level 3 or equivalent in engineering; IOSH/NEBOSH (desirable).
