Job Role & Responsibilities

As the MEP Technical Services Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting mobilisation site reviews and validations.
  • Supporting design reviews before mobilisation, including:
    • Hosting design Q&A sessions with the Senior PM Team.
  • Preparing drawings with subcontractors for balancing/flushing requirements before mobilisation.
  • Conducting on-site design/installation reviews, including:
    • Monitoring installations.
    • Marking up as-built drawings during site visits.
  • Reviewing on-site labour and providing feedback to the Senior Team.
  • Ensuring a positive working environment for site staff by acting as the Senior Team's eyes and ears.
  • Reviewing the project programme weekly, ensuring a two-week lookahead on each bi-weekly visit.
  • Preparing and issuing a monthly project progress snapshot, including:
  • An up-to-date drawing register.As-built mark-up with highlighted progress.
  • Photographic evidence of work progress.
  • Health & Safety audits from the previous month (to be submitted separately).
  • Issuing the monthly Site Progress Percentage Document (SPPD).
  • Providing final as-built mark-ups and testing certification to the Senior Team.
  • Managing site handovers and customer witnessing.
  • Coordinating and delivering client handover training on-site.

Skills Required

  • Proven time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy levels.
  • Extensive knowledge of British Standards in Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication skills at all levels, from site to senior management.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed reports.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Professional client interaction skills.
  • Full UK driver's license.
