Manufacturing Systems EngineerKent £45,000k *** Due to the nature of the role & the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve UK SC clearance ***We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join us and take on the role of linking Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Management Technology (IMT) and Operational Technology (OT). We have major IT programmes running to upgrade our PDM, MES & ERP systems, so it would be a great time to join us and gain experience. Day to Day you will be -Developing the skills and knowledge to become a subject matter expert in our ERP system to support the needs the Manufacturing Engineers in OperationsSupporting New Product Introduction and the incorporation of changes by managing the transfer of advanced parts lists, BOMs and ECNs between Engineering and ManufacturingReviewing and editing component and part settings within the ERP system to ensure the smooth running of Manufacturing OperationsInvestigating variations between drawings / technical data sheets and delivered parts, particularly for electronic components and consumablesSupporting major Digital Transformation programmes across our ERP, MES and PDM systems by developing/defining processes, cleansing data, performing user testing, and providing trainingGenerally supporting activities in the Manufacturing Systems team such as generating custom reports/dashboards, providing governance to cyber security requirements, and integrating advanced manufacturing technologiesKey Skills we are looking for -A desire to learn and an interest in becoming a subject matter expertA good understanding of the relationship between Engineering data, Manufacturing data, data configuration and change controlExperience in Manufacturing and working knowledge of Manufacturing Systems (ERP / MES)Experience working with ORACLE ERP and Siemens TeamCenter PDM systemsAbility to understand electronic component data sheetsKnowledge of RoHS and REACH
