Job Summary for MRP Project Implementation Assistant

You will be an MRP Project Assistant within the Supply Chain Department to offer support to the Group Supply Chain Manager in achieving Javelin MRP and support departmental administration for the wider Project Team.

You will work 9 days a fortnight (every other Friday off). The Friday you work, will be a 4-hour day. Start and finish times are flexible.

Please note, this is a 2 year contract initially, with possibility of extension.

Responsibilities for MRP Project Implementation Assistant

  • Support the project planning phases with the Project Manager and their allocated budget
  • Organise and administer project workshops for the Project Team
  • Document departmental value stream maps
  • Issue and monitor Gap Analysis documents with the Project Team
  • Attend monthly project review meetings and minute
  • Maintain project timeline document and KPI’s
  • General admin support within the Supply Chain and Operations Team
  • Other duties, as reasonably requested

Skills and experiences required for MRP Project Implementation Assistant

  • Previous MRP system experience an advantage
  • Microsoft office Microsoft Word and Excel (key)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Project co-ordination experience
  • Must be hardworking and self-motivated
  • Organised with excellent communication skills
