Are you a skilled SeniorSimulation Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge projects within fuel injection systems? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer, seeking someone to join their Simulation Department to help optimise designs and improve performance through advanced simulation techniques and physical testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tribology and structural analysis simulations to support design, development, and validation activities for diesel fuel injection system components.
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Development Engineers, providing simulation insights and making recommendations based on your findings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including Materials and Validation, to share valuable insights and improve simulation accuracy.
  • Prepare detailed reports and present your findings to internal teams and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development of new analysis techniques to enhance product performance.
  • Effectively plan your workload and support project planning to meet deadlines.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience with simulation methodologies for hydraulic components.
  • Proficiency in simulation software like ANSYS, AMESIM, or GT Suite.
  • Strong understanding of tribology, fluid dynamics, and mechanical engineering.
  • The ability to select and apply the right analysis techniques for each project.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Elasto-hydrodynamic analysis and fluid-structure interaction.
  • Familiarity with high-pressure fuel injection systems.
  • Python coding experience, alongside CAD/Solid Modelling knowledge using tools such as SolidWorks or NX.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes like grinding, heat treatment, or injection moulding.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience using simulation tools.

    • Friday: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (no lunch break).
