Location: Gillingham
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Dayshift (no nights or weekends)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of production machinery and equipment.
- Minimise downtime and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes through effective maintenance practices.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all machinery is compliant with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the production team to support operational goals and resolve any technical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with automated systems, PLCs, and machinery maintenance is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
