Reed Engineering is excited to announce that we are collaborating with a reputable business known for manufacturing sustainable packaging products and technology. As the company expands, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Role Overview: 

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for all aspects of maintenance across the Gillingham site. We are looking for reliable candidates of high calibre who are capable of thriving in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical problems as they arise.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and root cause analysis to identify issues with machinery or equipment.
  • Test malfunctioning machinery to determine the need for major repairs.

Skills and Experience of the Maintenance Engineer:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
