Our client is seeking a Mechanical Production Operative for a role that involves mechanical assembly using hand tools to measure and cut metal pipes, as well as packing and general housekeeping.
The position is located in Rochester and requires 40 hours of work per week from 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The starting pay rate is £12.00 per hour PAYE, with weekly pay.
Candidates must have their own transport or live within a 20-minute walk of Laker Road, Rochester, and should have experience using hand tools, though no assembly experience is required.
Excellent hand-to-eye coordination and physical fitness are necessary due to the standing and heavy lifting involved in the role.

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Production Operative

The role involves mechanical assembly - using hand tools to measure and cut metal pipes - packing and general housekeeping of the production area.

Location: Rochester

8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Please note due to our Clients location candidates will need to have their own transport or live within a 20 minute walk of Laker Road, Rochester.

As Mechanical Production Operative you will work within a small production team on a production line cutting and assembling equipment (no experience of assembling is required but candidates will need experience of using hand tools - saws etc).

Suitable Bench Assembler candidates will need to possess excellent hand to eye coordination and be physically fit as the job is standing all day with some heavy lifting involved.

Having your own STC boots or shoes is essential.
